Outside Sales Representative
The Role
Northam Distributor Ltd. is a small business in Surrey, BC. We are professional, agile, and professional.
We seek a highly motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will generate new business opportunities, build strong relationships with clients, and engage with existing clients.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for sales. These responsibilities include writing quotes, following up with customers' quotes and orders, data entry within our CRM platform, and following through on orders to ensure customer satisfaction. Other duties and responsibilities are listed below. Outside sales at Northam is the starting point for multiple career opportunities with our organization, from inside sales and purchasing to management.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze market potential, track sales activities, and develop strategies to achieve sales targets
- Conduct cold calls, prospecting, and lead generation to expand the customer base
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Present product demonstrations and provide technical sales support to customers
- Collaborate with the internal team to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues or concerns
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors' activities
- Utilize CRM tools to manage customer information and sales pipeline
- Conduct negotiations and close sales deals to meet or exceed sales targets
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, progress, and achievements
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales, account management, or business development
- Building material knowledge or experience in the building industry is an asset
- Post-secondary education in a related field would be considered an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients
- Ability to effectively present product demonstrations and technical information to customers
- Fluency in Punjabi is a requirement
- Ability to negotiate contracts and close deals successfully
- Self-motivated with a strong drive for results
- Valid driver's license
